Money or property bequeathed to another by will.
Generally a gift of property by will or testament. The term is used to denote the disposition of either personal or real property in the event of death.
Being or having to do with something, esp. something outdated or otherwise undesirable, that is carried over from a previous system.


Sample Usage

Chinese have a legacy of religious freedom.
It is a legacy payable out of the general assets of the company.
