Talk loudly and vehemently, especially in anger.If you rant and rave about something, you protest noisily and forcefully.
This idiom is a redundancy, since rant and rave mean just about the same thing, but probably survives on account of its alliterative appeal.


Sample Usage

The public ranted and raved about the new education system,but he had to accept it.
The politician is ranting and raving about the opposite party speech.
