Sometimes we lengthen the sentence too much that by the end, the meaning of the sentence is lost.

Sentences should be precise and should deliver meanings as easily and quickly as possible to the reader.

Here are some examples:

1)I would appreciate it if : Please

2)At the present time : now

3)On condition that : if

4)Are of the opinion : believe

Sample Usage

1) I would appreciate it if i am granted leave today.
:Please grant me leave today.
:Kindly grant me leave today.

---> The precise choice of word(s) may depend on the context of the sentence as in the above case.

2)In the past she was famous but at the present time she is no more in the lead.
: In the past she was famous but now she is no more in lead .

3) You can go to play on one condition that you finish your homework.
: you can go to play if you finish your homework.
