Abashed means to lose ones own composure. If a person is in a normal state of mind, a disconcert with sudden shame.

Cross reference: A feeling of despair, being discouraged, feeling of helplessness in a person come up when a person losses complete control over his emotions.



Sample Usage

1. I feel completely abashed from those days when she left me from the middle of life.

2. The fellow was abashed from the accident yesterday night.

3. Drug addicts! Hell, they are completely abashed.
