(in an enterprise).

In other words it is to do something that is different to anything that has been done before


Sample Usage

1. Dr. Anderson was breaking new ground in cancer research.

2. They were breaking new ground in consumer electronics.

3. We're breaking new ground in television comedy. You'll never have seen anything like this before.

4. So are the scientists breaking new ground in their quest to discover what causes the disease?
