Pandemic is an adjective.

Meaning: prevalent over a whole country or the world i.e. which is widespread across a large geographic area.Though it is used in case of issues that are general and are widespread ,it is mostly used to refer to a disease that is spread across a wide area.

Antonyms: local, concentrated
