---------------------- Possessive Form of Noun -------------------------

Forming a possessive is very easy in the English language. Possessive form is nothing but the way you refer the nouns in a sentence. This means making a noun possessive to refer a group of people, or things i.e possessive form just express the ownership of the noun to the subject.
For Example:

1.Siwach owns a house.
This is Siwach's house.

2.Peter has a ferocious dog.
Peter's dog is fereocious.

For making possessive to express relationship one can use as follows:

1.This is Ramesh's father.
2.This is Kalpana's son.
3.This is Swami's school.

For making plural possessives one can use the following way:

1.This is a girls' hostel.
2.Shivangi bought the sailors' boat.

Thus to make a sentence possessive we just use an apostrophe sign with the noun(for singular -‘s or for plural endidng is 's'- only an apstrophe sign).
