An eminence grise - Suppose someone is having a very strong influence of people. His words are of too much value and what matters is his words and his actions but that man does not hold any strong and real position, especially on the chairs, then we refer to him by saying that he is an eminence grise.


Sample Usage

1. Mahatma Gandhi was an eminence grise of India.
2. I am not an eminence grise of my school, because my words do not matter to anyone.
3. You are an eminence grise for us, because though you don't have the position but you have the value sir.
