Tangible

Tangible means capable of being touched, palpable.

Tangible is an adjective.

Synonyms: physical, solid, material, substantial.

Antonyms: impalpable, intangible, untouchable.

Note: Tangible can also mean anything that can be valued monetarily.


Sample Usage

The angel was not tangible, but I could sense her presence.

Knowledge on foreign languages is a tangible advantage to international travelers.

The old couple agreed to sell their tangible property and give the proceeds to their grand-children.
