Difference between Practice and Practise

Practice is a noun. As a noun it is used in the following senses:
1. Actual occurrence of somthing
2. Regularly repeated exercises
3. Knowledge of something.

Practise is a verb. As a verb it is used in the following senses:
1. Carry out
2. Engage in rehearsal

Examples of Practice
1.I took over his practice when he retired.
2.If you want to play cricket well, you need a lot of practice.

Examples of Practise
1.He practises mathematics everyday.
2.The lawyer has been practising for 5 years.
