One Swallow doesn't make a summer is a proverb which means that if a person has succeeded once it does not necessarily mean that he will continue to do so.
The occurrence of one good event in life does not indicate a trend. It also does not indicate that things will continue to improve or get better.
Spotting a single swallow (bird) is not an indication of the onset of summer and likewise one successful event does not ensure success in future.
