Writing e-mails to introduce someone in a team

When a new person joins a team, an introducing e-mail is generally send by the lead/manager to all the team members to inform them about him. It is a short mail that includes the name of the person; his qualification; what his currrent profile would be; his past experience; and his hobbies.

Sample Usage

Dear Team,

I would like to introduce ABC (name of the person) to all of you. ABC has joined the Sales Excellence team and will be responsible for ensuring that content on Wikiportal is updated & relevant and therefore useful for all users. In this role, he/she will be working primarily with the pre-sales teams in conducting regular audits, thereby ensuring access to the most updated information on Wikiportal. ABC has a bachelors degree in Mathematics and is also a qualified teacher (B.Ed.). He/She has worked in multiple roles in the past including a math's teacher and as a sales co-ordinator for a software company. ABC likes to spend free time in exploring various arts and crafts, and is also interested in singing and painting.
