Author:     Member Level: Silver    Points: 7 (₹ 7)

When a person from senior management in an organization passes away, an e-mail to inform all the employees is generally sent by the Chairman or CEO of the organization. The content of the e-mail is about that person; the tenure for which he was associated with the organization; his achievements etc.

Sample Usage

My dear colleagues,

It is with a sense of deep sorrow that I state that my old friend and colleague, Sreeramaswamy is no more.

I have known Sreeramaswamy for more than 30 years. He was a brilliant engineer who always thought differently. He believed in doing things rather than dreaming. He not only conceptualized the products of ABC (name of the organization) but also created the manufacturing organization for the same. Some of his ideas were path breaking and many were ahead of their time.

When IT services as a business was still a fledgling thought in minds of many, it was Sreeramaswamy who translated that to reality.

A very versatile person in all fields. A soft-spoken technocrat who led from the front, he will always be remembered for his gentle leadership, expansive vision and inspiring personality.

My heart goes out to his wife Latha and his daughter Sharmila.

Regards,
