The words that express agreement or rejection.

There are various ways of accepting or rejecting some views or proposals. You can reject somebody's proposal or oppose his views in a polite manner.It is true that you can't oblige everyone but at least you can convey the same politely.

Given below are some examples:-

When you strongly agree say: Definitely/certainly/of course/ yes, of course.

For example:

Could you tell me the way to this address?

Yes, of course/definitely

Agree: just say : yes/ You are right.

Are you satisfied with the job? Yes. Is she beautiful? You are right

Agree , but not very sure:Probably, I think so, may be,perhaps ,yes/

Is it a good proposal? Probably, yes/ I think so/May be it is good

Turn down politely: I doubt it./I don't think so, Probably not.

Will you attend the party ? I don't think so/probably not

Reject : I am afraid not/It may not happen/Not really interested, may be some other time

Strongly protest: Certainly not/Definitely not/of course not/No way.

Are you dishonest in answering my questions? Certainly not/ No way.








Sample Usage

Do you agree or disagree: Yes/no

Do you respect your parents? Yes, of course

Sometimes we must not argue: You are right.

Would you like to change your present job? Probably, yes/ I think so.

Would you like to buy a second hand bike from my friend? I don't think so/ I am afraid not.

Are you timid? Definitely not.
