Difference between 'Luxuriant' and 'Luxurious'

Luxuriant is an adjective and means 'rich in growth'.

Luxurious is an adjective and means 'given to luxury'.
The latter has a bad sense.

Sample Usage

The girl has a luxuriant growth of hair.

The luxurious habits of the Indian princess are notorious.
