Difference between 'Politic' and 'Political'

Politic means sagacious, prudent.

Political means 'pertaining to politics'.

Sample Usage

1. It is not politic to contradict him, as he flies into a passion easily.
2. It is neither polite nor politic to get into other people's quarrels.
