Difference between 'See','Look' and 'Watch'

See
To see is to observe or perceive by the eye.

Look
To lookis to turn the eyes towards something so as to see.

Watch
To watch is to observe closely or to keep waking.


Sample Usage

See
1. I saw him coming from a distance.
2. After six years of blindness,he found he could see.
3. I can see her in the garden.

Look
1. Look! There he goes.
2. Let me have a look!
3. A look of surprise.

Watch
1. Watch thou and pray.
2. He was watching her carefully.
3. They have gone to watch for the ship coming in.
