KUDOS means to praise or a statement of praise or approval.

KUDOS also means appraisal or accolade.

Origin-- It is greek singular noun kydos meaning “praise or renown." It was first implemented and largely used in academic circles, and later gained popularity in Journalistic field.

Antonyms of KUDOS include berate, boo, denounce, disapprove, reject, vituperate or derogatory manner.


Sample Usage

1) No greater kudo could have been bestowed.

2)Tendulkar received many kudos after his excellent and marvelous performance.
