Difference between 'Male', ' Manly and 'Masculine'

Male is sex but masculine is gender. Manly means having a mans's virtue, courage, frankness.

Sample Usage

Male
1. The male of the species.
2. The male rabbit.

Manly
1. He has a manly bearing.
2. He is strong and manly.

Masculine
1. Masculine qualities.
2. Is the french word for 'door' masculine or feminine ?
