No dice

No dice means not to be agreeable to something.

Sample Usage

1. Sanjay pleaded with his father to give him some money for a bike, but his father refused saying, "No dice – first find a job and start earning".

2. The teacher had a hard time convincing the Principal to hold a food festival on the campus. He said "It will be too expensive, so no dice".

3. The poor playing conditions of the venue meant that the organizers would surely say that the soccer game was no dice.
