Fugitive

Noun--A person who is fleeing from prosecution, intolerable circumstances, a runaway.

Adjective--Having taken flight, or run away, fleeting, transitory or changing color as a result of exposure to light and chemical substances present in the medium.

This word is generally used in the context to refer a person who flees from prosecution and escapes punishment or a person who is convicted with an offense.


Sample Usage

1)Perry Mason is considered fugitive from justice and he needs a lawyer to solve the issue.

2)"Being fugitive will not acquit you from the case", said the lawyer to me.
