Jog the memory - Jogging is a kind of exercise in which you run slowly and it keeps you fit. Well, here's a bit difference. This idiom actually means to make you a cause so that you begin to recall something. So jogging your memory does not mean to actually bring out you cerebrum, take it in your hand and run with it but it means to try to recall/remember something.


Sample Usage

1. I would like you to jog your memory, please tell me who that person was.
2. Please jog your memory and tell me where you had kept the keys.
3. I am jogging my mind to get that book for you; I don't remember where I have kept it.
