Doom and Gloom

Doom and Gloom - Doom means a hit or strike of something which makes situation worse and gloom means a melancholy type of condition. So altogether, going by the valuation, doom and gloom means that a condition is bad and there is very less hope for it to become good.


Sample Usage

1. It looks like it is all doom and gloom because of the bad weather.
2. Guys, it's not all doom and gloom yet, just give it a try.
3. My God, it is such a doom and gloom that I don't think things are going to improve.
