Satiate means to satisfy completely or to excess.

Satiate is a verb.

Synonyms: satisfy, stuff, overfill, glut, gorge, overdo, overindulge, surfeit.

Antonyms: starve, under-supply.

Note: Satiate and surfeit mean to fill or to become completely full. Satiate usually implies satisfaction beyond natural desire. Surfeit implies excess that results in illness or revulsion.


Sample Usage

Mr.Sai's feast satiated our need for food.

The manufacturer satiated the market with his cheap and quality products.

We could not satiate the man's large ego.
