Lessen
Lessen is a verb and means to reduce or to grow less.

Lesson
Lesson is the work set for a pupil.


Sample Usage

Lessen
1. Nothing can lessen my misery.
2. The fan lessened the heat a little.
3. When the children left,the noise lessened considerably.

Lesson
1. He learnt his lesson carefully and was praised by the teacher.
2. He took driving lesson.
