What causes seasons on earth to change?

Do you want to know what causes seasons on the earth to change? Find out the scientific reasons behind seasonal changes in the earth here.

We notice that there are different seasons and weathers on earth during the same time in a different space. How are the seasons and weathers caused when all the regions of the earth, despite being on one planet have differing seasons in the same time? The earth is the same distance away from the sun for example, and one place on it is freezingly cold and the other is very much hot, how is it?

  • Hi.. It's my first post to India Study Channel, I feel it helps.
The seasons are the result of the tilt of the Earth's axis. The tilt of the axis is 23.45 degrees, When earth's axis towards the Sun it is summer for the particular hemisphere and winter for other hemisphere away from Sun.

  • Revolution of the earth around the sun in its orbit brings about the change in season and rotation of the earth in its axis causes the change of day and night. We all know that the earth is a bit tilted on it axis at an angle of 23.45°, so during the earth revolution when the southern hemisphere receives direct sunlight from the earth and the northern hemisphere receives slanted sunlight, the southern hemisphere experience summer and northern hemisphere experience winter and vise- versa.

Weather and climate changes continuously from place to place, time to time. It is determined by various factors present at a particular place such as humidity of that place, air pressure, direction of the wind, air current etc .
