  • Dear friend,

Its a good decision taken by you to work with ISRO/BARC. Back ground with B.E in Instrumentation and control branch, is one of the eligible subject to appear for their recruitment process.

Both ISRO and BARC are recruiting through the written exams. BARC is considering GATE score also. So you may start to prepare for GATE. Also BARC conducts a separate written test till last year. So wait for their announcements. Start preparing your own subject. You may refer ISRO & BARC websites for further information.

The concentration areas are mainly Electronics, mechanical and computer science, in which the ISRO has vacancy. You can apply online for the job in ISRO. The minimum marks of candidates preferred are 65 percent. There will be test for candidates, and they are selected on the performance in the tests and in the interview. The application fee is rupees 100/- which have to be paid by downloading the pay challan and pay the fee at state bank of India. Copy of payment details has to be sent to ISRO together with the form. For the application go to isac site, google it. Select the first site; you will be getting their site and the application. Thank you.
