  • It is not difficult to get a birth certificate as long as you have the required documents. You have mentioned that you are a resident of the State of Haryana but have not specified the region. So here are 2 options:

    1. You can obtain a birth certificate from the Faridabad Municipal Corporation.

The link for the application for a birth certificate is available here:

    2. You can obtain a birth certificate from the Gurgaon Municipal Corporation.

The section of their website for birth registration is:

Please click on the link given at this page for 'Late Certificate'. It will show you the list of requisite documents: 10th Std. marksheet, Ration card or Voters ID card as proof of address, various affidavits required, etc.

I would suggest that before you apply through either of the websites, you could first contact them individually, mention where you stay presently and find out which is the correct municipal corporation through which you need to apply for the certificate. Otherwise you will needlessly waste your time going through the entire process and being told it is the wrong municipal corporation!

    Here are the contact details:
    1. Faridabad Municipal Corporation
    Website for contacts:

    2. Gurgaon Municipal Corporation
Opposite General Civil Hospital Gurgaon HR 122001
