Can I change Payee name in Google Adsense Account?

Wondering whether it is possible to change the payee name in your Google AdSense account? Find out from the responses in this thread on whether you can change payee's name in an AdSense account.

The question is about Payee name in Google Adsense Account. I have fully approved Adsense Account (not hosted account) on my name. I saw a one option for changing payee name for receiving payments. So can you tell me can I change payee name in Google adsense account? I am also attaching screenshot of the option.

Although there is a option for changing the payee name in the account but I don't think you should change it because if you go through the "Adsense Help" topic regarding the change of Payee Name, it is clearly written that you will not be able to change the payee name within your account in India. So,you might have problem receiving your Adsense cheques in near future.
