  • Rheumatoid Arthritis or RA is an auto immune disease which causes systematic inflammatory disorder. Only Specalist doctors can help you manage the pain through NSAID's Non-Steroid Anti Inflammatory Drugs under direct supervision of the specialists. Doctors may suggest you change in life style according to your condition, Disease Modifying Agents like Methotrexate, NSAID's as discussed above and Surgery in some cases. There is no permanent cure for the RA but pain can be minimised and disease can be managed by regular visit to your Rheumatologist who will monitor the progression of the disease and prescribe medicines to make the patient live with RA.
