The proximity of home and caring family gives them confidence and relieves them of many a burden. They can demand and get variety of food and outings with family. After school hours they have variety and choice in food, dress and recreation. Even when they fall sick, they feel secured and safe under the proximity and affection of family, and that helps faster recovery of health.

As there are parents and family members to take care of much needs, students may not become responsible and may not even take care of their own matters. From waking up onwards they depend on parents or other family members. Even if parents love them, the controls and regulations insisted by them make the students feel bored and lacking freedom and they develop a don't care attitude also. This can create many a tiffs at home. Students may be slow in developing social attitude and accommodative spirit.
