  • Hydroponics is a method in which plants are grown in water in absence of soil. Nutrition will be in the form of mineral nutrient solution. Fish waste, duck manure all here act as nutrient.

Growing water lily in water in absence of soil will also come under hydroponics as they are planted in water and not soil.
