    PCB eligibility criteria for NEET 2017

    I am a student who has completed my higher secondary education as compartmental. Now I wish to apply for NEET 2017. The eligibility criteria for it is described as 50% marks in PCB stream. What would it mean - with or with out practicals?

  • Neet eligibility is as follows-
    Must be an Indian 17-25 years of age as on 31 Dec 2016.
    1.OC-50 %
    3.SC/ST-40 %
    Candidates must have studied the PCB and Englisg at 12 th level and must secure at least 50%, 45%, 40 % according to their category including practicals.

  • NEET eligibility criteria are as under:-

    (a) Required aggregate percentage in X+II: 50% for General, 45% for physically handicapped and 40% for SC/ST/OBC. [Please note that it is aggregate percentage and includes the marks scored in Practical examinations.]

    (b) The candidates must have the combination of Physics-Chemistry-Biology-English in X+II level.

    (c) The upper age limit is 25 and the lower age limit is 17. The age is calculated on 31st December of the year of examination. [This means, for NEET-2017, age will be calculate on 31st December, 2017.] Five years relaxation is given for reserved category candidates.

  • For the NEET examination eligibility criteria is, you must be X+II with PCB and minimum 50% including practical marks. Age must be 17-25 years as on 31st december 2017. Reservation criteria is category wise mentioned as based government rules.
