Regarding the mistakes in Hall ticket of Maharashtra board

Planning to give 12th board exam? Worried about the mistake in hall ticket? Find advice from experts on this page.

Recently I have found out that my adhar card no. on my 12th hall ticket has been mistaken and only four days are left for exams. Will I be able to correct the mistake? And if it doesn't get corrected will it create any kind of problem while viewing the result?

Please do not panic. No one can stop you giving exam. Hall ticket is just token for appearing exam. It does not hold any value after exam.
    1. Make sure to carry enough identity proofs like reshan card, domicile certificate. I feel your parents should visit college with you so much ahead of time you can solve what needs to carry as proof of identity.
    2. For viewing result you can use same aadhar card number. Later on you can request University for change if it start appearing on all certificates. But for any exam you have to fill correct details on own which university uses so just be careful next time onwards.
    3. Board results are tagged to your roll number and application number so Aadhar card number will not impact your results. If you suspect then you can ask for duplicate copy of result sheet and validate your score.

For now just concentrate on studies and do well. Rest things you will have enough time later to figure out.

Nothing to worry. If the Aadhaar number was wrongly printed in the hall ticket means it is the mistake of the Board and you need not worry. The examiner or the supervisor who makes check up of the hall ticket would be interested to see your photo that matches with that of image mentioned in the Aadhaar card and tallying of number wont be the matter here. So keep cool and prepare for the exam and the examiner has no right to reject your entry on this flimsy ground. In future ensure that all the entries of Aaadhar number is made rightly in every application you submit,

    1. Time is very short, but you must not worry. As a first step, submit a written application to the Board Office and get proper receipt against the application. Your guardian/parents must handle this part.
    2. At the same time, you have to carry other records in the examination hall to prove your identity and correct name. You must also carry the copy of application(as mentioned in Para 1) on every examination day.
    3. During the examination, you must write the Roll number properly. This is most important. Furthermore, you must write your name correctly. Roll number and name are the two most important things. The certificate and marksheet will reflect these two information.

    Best wishes for the examination!

Beware! I question everything and everybody.

Other than that you need not worry about different forms of signature on different academic certificates. If you don't have a PAN card, apply for PAN card and sign on the application which is most comfortable to you. Once PAN is issued, you can follow the same signature for future transactions. run 3 cool math
