The various telecom operators are now a days offering data packs of different data value for different validity. One has to choose as per his requirement from his operator as per the available plans. The reason for above is - one person may require more data for less time while another may require more data for more time and still other person may require nominal data for a long time. The operators have variety of plans to satisfy the various customers.

Anyway, as I am a BSNL customer while recharging my prepaid connection I found that a special Holi festival scheme is going on and they are offering 7GB, 3G data, for merely Rs 198 for 28 days validity. Normally they give only 1GB data in Rs 150 to 200. This scheme is valid till 17th March 2017 only. The offer seemed to me lucrative and finding an opportunity in ISC forum section, I am sharing it here for the benefit of all concerned.

As of now, from the experience users tell and also the plan tariffs announced in the media, Reliance Jio appears to be best. However as Reliance Jio is directly suited for 4G phones. But they have launched a device JioFi, using which one can get internet in 3G phones. Reliance Jio Fi can be used for multiple devices at same time. With the present understanding, JioFi also has the same tariffs and plan as applicable to the Reliance Jio internet plans. It appears that the 303 plan of Jio will be a reasonable and affordable plan for most general users.

BSNL also has come up with some plans just to beat competition of Jio. However they have still only 3G plans.

It is better to wait for a few days more to know how things develop, as the initial offer and New Year offer from Reliance Jio are to end and users have to migrate to the tariff plans and Prime membership. Hope other operators may also come up with competitive plans.

After Jio Happy Nex Year offer expired, the company has introduced Jio Prime, extending the offer for another 12 months for ?99 which includes free 4G voice calls, free data, video calls just @10 Rupees/day. The offer is valid till 31st March.

Second, if you want to try other ISP cellular tariff plans for 4G then go for Airtel. They offer 10GB 4G data/day with the recharge of ?349.

In India, as of now, the two ISP are the best that offers affordable tariff plans.
