  • Well without looking to internet and based on my personal experience, I feel Bengaluru city is famous for greenery and we can find lots of trees inside the city. For that matter Hyderabad also has green cover and when it comes to traffic regulation , Hyderabad has more traffic signals through which pollution gets into the trees. Where as in Bengaluru the round about are more the vehicles has to take a round turn to reach the right side road without traffic manning. That advantage makes the trees to breathe easy away from the traffic pollution. Moreover some old trees are still looking young in Bengaluru.

  • No official announcement anywhere. But some private agencies survey says Copenhagen of Denmark as the green city followed Amsterdam of Netherlands. In other surveys 1 and 2 places are interchanged.

In India No. 1 is Mysore, No.2 is Chandigarh and No.3 is Surat,

  • Some of the most well planned green cities of India are Dehradun, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Shillong, Jaipur and Shimla. As per reports Ahmedabad has been awarded as the "Green City Of India". With the rise in concern of global warming many cities in the world are going green and coming up with sustainable development blueprints.

When you ask the most green city in the world the answer is Copenhagen. The city has well defined environmental norms and is beautifully adorned with rich planned green cover. The infrastructure is designed to bicycling and walking rather than making use of cars. Best part is that the people of the country have realised the need to save environment.

  • A recent survey conducted by emphasis Bengaluru as the greenest city of India. It conducted a survey in which solar products and plantation accessories based rating all over India was done. Bengaluru was the one which got the full marks and topped the results.

So depending on this result which is the latest one I must say that my vote goes for Bengaluru. I founded that people living in this city are very much environmentally concerned. They take atmost care about not polluting their city. So this must work as an inspiration for the entire country. Here people are keen on using the solar products for their daily activities. Instead of using lead batteries majority relied on solar battery. Solar panels, solar torches, solar inverter were greatly sold by Amazon company in Bengaluru.

Apart from this the plantation items such as seeds, fertilisers, garden tools, pots and planters were also in a great demand. This is really very great because the world needs more and more trees and plant grown for healthy environment.

Apart from Bengaluru there are other cities which take away the credits from decades. In this Mysore, Chandigarh, Surat are top 3 in India for owing greenery city title.

If we take a look at world rankings then there are a sequential list proposed by various agencies in which cities are grouped by their greenery. Some of the top cities are
    Copenhagen - Denmark
    Amsterdam - The Netherlands
    Stockholm - Sweden
    Vancouver - Canada
    London - United Kingdom.

  • In India, there is no doubt about Bangalore for the green and coolest city, however, it is concern that these days trees count are going down due to various reason. The second place is of course Mysore within same state. There are many cities across India which has finest and beautiful trees which makes them green but count wise they are less so it can't be told as most green cities.

The cities like Shimla, Goa, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Dehradun also has well known trees in mass and they covers many areas within cities but they are less in counts, so, Bangalore occupies for this title compare to naturally greenery smallest cities exist in North East India.

In international, the majority part of the Europe covers the unique trees and some of the well known places like Denmark and Madrid is example for this. Curitiba, Brazil is the top one, Cape Town, South Africa is the next and San Francisco, California too in the list.

Bangkok and Tokyo are few of the finest and greenest cities in the Asia / world.

  • Before giving preference to foreign and international cities I will just like to mention first India.I belong from Karnataka, so in Karnataka Madikeri and Mysore, these two interconnected cities are best for vacations in Karnataka. It is best known for its greenery and also for the historical background.Madikeri known as Coorg, this is the best place in Karnataka if you want to enjoy your summer, tourism department of Karnataka will help you in guiding.Due to its greenery and the environment, it is known as Scotland of India. It offers a lot of stuff more to tourist.
If you want to peace and you want to visit temples I will suggest you visit Kerala and Mangalore -Udupi, the South Canara district of Karnataka.Kerala is known as the land of gods, hence with many temples and positivity. Most of the temples are famous and most fascinating is the temple will find green environment too in Kerala.
International or foreign countries I prefer Bangkok as a first one in the greenery then Canada, the Vancouver city, and Madrid.
