  • Your son was born on 16th March 2013. He can write 10th class exam latest in the year 2027. By March 2027 he will complete 14 years. To appear for 10th exam one should complete his 14th year. Your son will complete his 14th year by 16th March 2027. If the exams are after 16th March 2027 he is eligible. Before March 16th 2027 means he has to appear in 2018.

  • Your son will appear in Xth Board examination EARLIEST by 2027. However, this is as per the present regulation of CBSE. There is chance that rules can be changed in future. However, generally students appear in Xth Board examination at an age of 15 or 16.

Considering his age, your son should ideally be in Lower Kindergarten (LKG) in the academic year 2017-18.

Beware! I question everything and everybody.
