  • PG Diploma in management (PGDM) will be offered by many institutes. You can do it after completing your graduation. There is no specialisation in this. It is on general management. The value of the certificate depends on which institute you are opting for.
MBA is a full fledged master's degree in Business Management. It is offered by many universities and management institutes. IIMs are very standard for this degree. There are many business schools which will offer MBA and have very high job potential for MBA from IIMs or from Business schools. IFIM from Bangalore is offering PGDM and the institute is in existence from almost 20 Years , I think. It a good institute.
Of the two MBA is a better option and job potential will be good for MBAs. But you should do it in standard university or business school. Many institutes offer MBA. They are only for namesake and may not be of good value.

But if your going for PGDM then MBA is not required. Where as your employment depends on you, that how you take your interview and prove yourself that your stable for that job. So decide and mention in your next query that whether you want details about PGDM or MBA.
