  • You are staying at Bengaluru and have sought information on pursuing M.Sc (Physics) through distance education mode from recognised university. I am mentioning some universities which allow candidates to pursue M.Sc (Physics) through distance education/correspondence and have study centres in Bengaluru. These universities are approved by University Grants Commission (UGC).

    These universities are:-
    (a) Karnataka State Open University
    (b) Annamalai University
    (c) Madurai Kamaraj University
    (d) Sikkim Manipal University

As far as I know IGNOU has not yet started M.Sc. (Physics) in distance ediucation mode. In this connection, I would also advise you not to fall in the trap of coaching institutions which promise degrees you desire from universities about which nobody knows. Please take admission after being personally satisfied about recognition of the university and recognition of the degree.

Beware! I question everything and everybody.
