  • I suggest her to clean that portion once by applying chenna flour mixed with oil. Make a paste by mixing these two. Please apply at the required place while the leg is dry only. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes and slowly remove the flour with hand. Then she can have her bath. It is advisable to use dermodue soap, which is very soft and acts very perfect. Otherwise, use soapnuts for cleaning the spot instead of soap. This will remove blackness. You should also observe whether it is any reaction with the shoe. Then you may have to change the shoe to a different type. There is an AYurvedic medicine by name,'kaisora Guggulu'. It is very good for removing blackness on the skin without any side effects. If you have any chance to purchase the medicine you can try this also.

  • As you have mentioned the black patch is due to wearing school shoes, it is suggested to use the shoes for minimum time required. It is also suggested to use a thick and comfortable socks, preferable cotton socks while wearing the shoes. Let her avoid wearing the shoes continuously for long time when the leg or shoes are wet.
Once the child has come back from school, remove the shoes and socks and apply a little amount of pure coconut oil at the affected part. Let it remain for sometime and then wash it of using green gram flour or any gentle bath soap. Olive oil also can be applied at the black patch for a few days. Avoid tight fitting or pinching footwear. As the child is young and growing, the dark patch will slowly lighten and revert back to the normal colour.
