    What is the eligibility criteria for SSC JE 2018 exam

    Planning to appear for the SSC JE 2018 exam? Know from experts if you are eligible as per the requisite eligibility criteria to appear for the exam.

    I am a student of civil engineering, in my last year (4th year ). I applying SSC JE 2018 exam; can I appear for this exam? Am I eligible for it?

  • Yes, You can appear. As you are in the final year. You can apply for the same and you can appear for the exam. But you should complete your course and obtain your Provisional certificate by the time you are ready to join in the duty.

  • You can appear in SSC JE-2018 examination if you complete your B.E/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering in 2017 without any backlog. You would not be eligible if you have any backlog at the time of filling up of the form.

  • You can appear for SSC JE 2018 exam now and you should be able to submit the original certificates/Provisional Degree/Mark sheets on or before 1st August 2018 if selected.

  • Yes, you can appear for the SSC JE exam but will get the post allocated only when you submit the original marksheet, provisional certificate state that you have attained the minimum educational qualification that is mandatory.This should be done on or before 1st August 2018, if not the candidature stands cancelled.

  • You are definitely eligible to apply for SSC JE examination as you are in final year of engineering.And you must submit your provisional or CMM while attending the interview after clearing written examination.And its better to take original certificate after the declaration of your results because provisional certificate is valid only for 6 months.

  • Yes, you are eligible for SSC(Staff Selection Commission) JE(Junior Engineer) examination because you are in last year but at the time of document verification your engineering degree should be on your hands. In 2016, final year candidates of engineering were not be eligible for the SSC JE exam. From this year the cutoff date is changed.
