  • Hi Hema,

    There is no chances of getting Credit card by students even his account shows standard or consistent fund transaction other than approved by any VIP authorization, and, there are 2 types of person only can get Credit card, which are as follows;

    One is, applicant must be a businessman and pay tax to government and have to have sufficient and required document to submit and process it to get approved by bank further, and,

    Second one is must be a professional and his/her salary (Basic/Gross) should match minimum requirement of the Bank who provides credit card, salary slip only not enough to process it and he/she should submit required more documents in order to approve by the bank.

    Moreover, I have heard that private bank not approving credit cards to politicians, lawyers, policeman, children and other few categories even though their influence and wealth is in high level…

    Credit limit may increase based on your salary hike or business increase and goodwill with them.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Buddy,

    Some banks issue credit card against fixed deposit or maintaining a required balance in saving bank account.

    Visit to Andhra Bank and ask detail about classic credit card issue policy which provides such facility. I have such a card against my savings account having the limit of Rs. 10,000/-.
