  • You have made an error in the year of passing. With regards to DSSsB PRT forms, like any online application, mistakes would be made at the initial stages. Given the huge number of applicants, it is impossible to rectify the mistakes of many applicants at this stage. Hence candidates are discouraged from submitting multiple forms.
If the error is related to cut off marks, caste etc, then you need to follow up with concern.

You can wait, prepare for the exams, Once you write the exams and you are selected for the interview, you can contact the authorities or explain to them during the document verification stage with the valid originals of the 12th class.

If you are concerend and unable to focus on your preparation. Draft a letter to the controller of exams, attach a copy of the form, a copy of the valid 12th pass card and clearly explain the mistake and keep the reciept of postage by Speed Post or Registered Post. You can use this when it comes to document verification stage.

  • I think you need not worry about this. Your certificates are showing correctly only. You can attend the written test and interview and once you are selected they will call you for document verification at that time you can show them the original certificate and explain them as a typographic mistake.
To be on safe side send mail or a letter to the concerned authority to whom you have submitted the application mentioning mistake happened in filling and mention in the letter your correct name. Send this letter by registered post and keep copy and registration proof with you.

  • You need not worry about the error which happened mistakenly. You can contact the controller of the examination and can ask them to edit it from their end or it will be edited at the time of verification of your certificates. Since there is no 'edit' option for such online applications, you can wait until the time of verification. Since it is error in date, that will not be a major concern. Since many applicants commit the same mistake, it is expected.

Wait until further notification and prepare well for the exam. If it still concerns you, you can call them by phone or contact them through official email. There will certain third party internet centers who are officially registered with this application process. You can search for them in your locality and do the necessary corrections with their help.

  • I think this is a minor mistake and this mistake would not make you ineligible for selection. As far as I understand, presently there is no scope of online correction of mistakes in DSSSB PRT form. So, to remain on safe side, you should write a letter to Chairman DSSSB indicating the mistake and forwarding a printed copy of the application which you have submitted. Send the letter by registered post with acknowledgment. Keep a copy of your letter and the acknowledgment. You should submit the same at the time of interview/document verification.

Address: Chairman, Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board, FC-18, Institutional Area, Karakardooma, Delhi -110092. Telephone No.: 011-22370237

As this is a minor mistake, you should not worry much about it. Prepare well for the examination.

    Come as you are!
