  • To get admitted to BCS first you should decide on the college or university you want to study. Then you have to wait for their admission notification. Meanwhile, the common entrance test for the entire state will be conducted by some university in the state. For example, in Telangana, the entrance test will be conducted by Osmania University this year for all the colleges and Universities coming under state government. You have to apply for the test and then qualify for the test with a good rank. Once you got a rank they will call you for councilling and base on your rank you will be having the choice of selecting the available seats in various colleges.

  • Bachelor in Computer Science is normal course and is available in almost every college. The main eligibility for the course is to pass 12th class with PCM. The admission is started in the month of May in every year. So, wait for your result and wait for the admission notification. You have not to give any entrance examination. The admission is on the merit basis of 12th standards. Admission process in MP is online and a student can select different courses and colleges at the time of registration. After that list of students is displayed on the site and students have to pay fees to get admission. Before admission, you have to verify your documents in any college of the university you want to take admission.

  • BCS, Bachelor of Computer science is a three year program with the core being computer studies. The eligibility would be 50% in 12 th standard with the core group being physics, chemistry and mathematics.There would be an basic entrance exam that decided on the enrollment. You need to write the common state level entrance exams, KCET in Karnataka, UPSEE in Uttar Pradesh, TANCET in Tamil Nadu and so on.

    If you have the time a B.Tech or a BE in computer science, this is one year more but would give you a better grasp of the subject and fundamentals. It would also give you an engineering degree after which you can take on GATE and similar exams and be eligible for a better paid job or even pursue your Masters and be update with your qualifications for the job market.

  • BCS is a three year degree programme where you you will get intensive studies in Computer - science apart from two additional papers namely Mathematics and Physics. The courses of studies for this programme remains more or less the same from university to university.
    In order to be eligible for the said course, your percentage of marks of 10+2 is to be considered and the minimum cut - off mark for admission to this course is fixed at 50 percent and higher is the marks, better would be chances for admission.
    Normally, the entrance examination for such courses is not conducted but you have to go through admission - notification of the different colleges displayed in the News - papers where in you would get the relevant details such as No of seats in the course, Date of registration, minimum percentage of marks required for admission, the fee - structure and date of closing admission.
    Yo need to check up the credential of the Institution and similarly recognition - status in terms of UGC is to be verified prior to taking admission. Such cross checking is essential in order to avoid any future complication.
