    Top sightseeing places in Hyderabad?

    Interested in touring Hyderabad? Searching for a detailed list of attractions and best beg places to eat? Find ample suggestions from experts on this page and decide how to enjoy the stay.

    I had visited this beautiful city of Hyderabad, years ago, on a holiday. I am told that the city itself has undergone a huge transformation in recent years.
    I would like to know the best places for sightseeing. These include for shopping and for top class street food which should be one hundred percent vegetarian.
    I would be visiting Hyderabad in the last week of May 2018, but would have evenings free, particularly between 5pm and 10 pm.

    Please do give me all the information on the aforesaid things, so that I can enjoy my stay.

  • There are many places of interests for a tourist in Hyderabad. Some of the prominent ones are as follows -
    1. Ramoji Film City - About 25 km from the city center it is a great place to see the movie sets and other paraphernalia related to film making. Many professionals working in film industry come here to get inspired for their projects. A large number of visitors visit this place.
    2. Charminar - It is a heritage place in the city itself. There are four minarets in it and hence the name Charminar. In the night this looks really fabulous when it is illuminated.
    3. Snow World - This is a unique snow park where one can experience almost the real thrill of snow falling around and walking on it. A great place to visit.
    4. Hussain Sagar Lake - It is a huge man made lake in Hyderabad and a famous place for picnic and other outdoor entertainment.
    5. Golkonda Fort - At a distance of about 9 km this is the ruins of Golkonda fort and is a must place to visit if one is interested in the history of this fort which stood there with all the glory in the past.
    6. Salar Jung Museum - The Salar Jung Museum is at Darushifa area in the city and is a national museum of India. The collection of museum contains paintings, sculptures, carvings, specially designed items etc and these items are basically got from the property of Salar Jung Family.
    7. Osman Sagar lake - About 20 km from the city this lake is situated in Gandipet area. It is a very famous tourist destination as Elless world, Ocean park and Treasure island are surrounding this lake.

    I have mentioned only a select few places in the above list but there are many other religious places, markets, parks etc which are of general interest and can be visited in Hyderabad depending upon ones liking.

  • Hyderabad is a very beautiful place with many places to visit. There are many historical places, pilgrim places, sightseeing places and children parks and play areas.
    The first and the very important place to be visited is Ramoji film city. A new construction with a lot of places to see. Many gardens, auditoriums and other activities will be a delight to the viewer. It is a world famous monument built before our eyes by the famous personality Mr Ramoji Rao. Many movies shooting will be carried out here. A full day is to be allotted for this tour.
    The next famous area is the Birla Planetarium. You will find this very interesting. Birla Science museum is also adjacent to this. Then the Birla temple. Once you go there you can see all the three and enjoy.
    The next one is the Golconda fort. This is slowly getting abandoned but the spot is worth seeing for its historical importance.
    The Nehru Zoological Park with the lion safari is very attractive to the people and a group of people can visit the place as a picnic to spend a day here is worth. The toy train is a special attraction to the people here.
    Charminar and Salarjung Museum are two places in the old Hyderabad which are worth seeing. The museum gives some details of Hyderabad history.
    There are many good temples around. The Keesara Eswara temple, Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple, Tadibund Anjaneya Swamy temple, Sankarmett are some of the famous temples of Hyderabad.
    Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is another big jewel in the neck of Hyderabad.
    Hussain Sagar lake is a very important point to see. The Buddha Statue, the NTR memorial Garden, Indira Park, Tankbund are very important places to see.
    The other places are snow world, ocean park and mount Opera.
    Peddamma Talli temple in Jubilee Hills and Shilparamam in the hi-tech city, The eat street near tank bundh is very good for food lovers.
    These are very important places in Hyderabad. Public Gardens, Assembly hall, Secretariat and Ravindra Bharathi can also be visited once.
    There are many other institutions like Annapoorna Studio, NTR Studio, Ramanaidu Studio etc which can also be given a visit.

    1. Golkonda Fort : It is a tehsil of hyderabad district. It was build by katakiya. It is a mandal of hyderabad.

    3. Balaji temple : This is a temple of hanumanji.
    4. Chowmahalla palace : owmahalla Palace or Chowmahallatuu (4 Palaces), is a palace of the Nizams of Hyderabad state. It was the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty and was the official residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad while they ruled their state. The palace remains the property of Barkat Ali Khan Mukarram Jah, heir of the Nizams.
    5. Taj Falaknuma place : This place stated in the top of hills. This is a very good place for photo shoot. Awsome design view of this place.
    6. Hussain sagar lake : There is statue of gautam buddha in the middle of the lake.
    7. Salarjung museum: This museum is a shaan of Hyderabad. It is the largest collection of the single man in the world.
    8. Ramoji film city : Many films shoot in ramoji, Hyderabad.
    9. Laad Bazar and Choodi Bazar : There you can buy cheap products. A variety of design bangles. It is very old market. Laad means a kind of material used for making bangles.
    10. Nehru zoological park : This park established in the year 1959. It ws opened to the public on 1963. It js run by government of telengana. It is closed on mondays.

  • If you are fond of Street Food, in a natural ambiance, Hyderabad is one of the cities, that offers enormous scope for such pleasure hours.

    1. Visit the Eat Street in Hyderabad, which is located surrounding the Necklace Road of Hussain Sagar Lake, which we also call Tank Bund.
    There are restaurants, eat outs, food brand outlets stretched over more than a couple of kilometers.

    2. For Shopping there are innumerable options, which I can't list down here. But if you want something special of Hyderabad, there's Hyderabad Central at Punjagutta Circle, Shilparamam, an open air massive shopping circle, with most of the shops with handicrafts and hand-loom products.

    3. Nehru Zoological Park- that has a stock of excellent species from different countries. The landscape is simply beautiful.

    4. Gandipet- If you are with family and friends, this is an ideal place to spend. It is on the bank of Osman Sagar, that has beautiful rocks and gardens to entertain the tourists.

    5. Shamirpet Lake: This is a lake located at the outskirts of Hyderabad and has a wonderful terrain surrounding it.

    6. Salar Jung Museum: This is a pride of Hyderabad. Will take hours to see everything that are preserved there.

    7. KBR Park: Located at Jubilee Hills, it has got a trekking track of several kilometers through the natural greenery.

    8. Golconda Fort: A Beautiful Fort with a sprawling compound of several acres.

    9. Charminar: It is the most popular monument of Hyderabad that gives it its identity.

    10. Nagarjun Sagar Dam: Three or four hours of drive from Hyderabad, located at the outskirts of Hyderabad.

    The list is just never-ending. There were even more, but due to the industrial release and pollution, we have lost much of the flora and fauna that used to bless the city earlier.

    4. Ramoji Film studio-An iconic place in Hyderabad which is famous for movie shooting. So many famous movies has been made here. You will get to see the set of some famous movies of India. You need to spend almost entire day to visit this place completely so plan your day accordingly.

    5. Char minar- Char minar is a kind of icon of hyderabad and is situated in the heart of the
    Old city area. Char minar is closes in the evening so better go in afternoon or in morning.

    6. Hussain Sagar lake- Popularity known as tank bund and is one of the most visited places of Hyderabad. It situated on necklace road. One small island is made in the middle of water which has a big Buddha statue. Boats are available to ferrey people to the island

    Numerous other places are there apart form the above mentioned ones like Birla temple, Sanjeeva reddy park, ISKON temple, Inorbit mall. Depending on you time and schedule you can plan a visit to one or the multiple places.
