Doubt about MBBS and BHMS admission 2018-2019

You may get if not in government quota as you got a minority reservation. Otherwise, you will get in management seat allocation. If you are not able to get a seat in MBBS, you will get definitely in BHMS. Be positive. Apply as for the procedure and attend the counselling. You have good chances for the course.

It all depends on the cut off this year for the various professional courses. Every year various sites try to predict the cut-off which is obviously difficult. One of the methods is to have an idea of the cut off for the previous two years, the number of students taking the exams and the seats available.

You should be able to make it for BHMS/BAMS. What I suggest is, now that the ranking is over, please get ready for the counselling rounds and seat allotment 1,2,3. Utilize this time to do some background research, getting your documents in order etc

I would say keep options open for MBBS,BDS,BHMS and BAMS
Please check the collges, the courses and the fees applicable for the courses. Make a list of the collges in Government, Government aided/controlled, Private-self finance.Then anaylse the colleges via based on their ranking,academics, fees etc.

Once you do this then you will be in a better frame of mind when your turn comes at the counselling. You would have some reliable data to base your choice on. The cut - off of the last three would give you some ideas regarding the minimum cut of points to be fixed for the different courses this year. However, this will give you a rough idea. You have indicated your ranking in terms of OBC category.
Yo should analyse the present scenario, many aspirants would opt for MBBS and it has been seen in that the aspirants are usually reluctant to choose BAMS, BHMS or BDS considering the bleak prospects of such courses.
Such perception is a wrong perception and the the best talented have been successful to secure government - jobs with attractive perks by choosing the courses other than MBBS.
A detailed study of BAMS would make you familiar with so many popular herbs like Withania - somnifera, Tenispora- cordifolia, Arjuna etc having tremendous efficacies in healing the patients without any side effects. Later on you can opt for MD ( Ayurveda) provided you do have interest for the same. There is the dearth of Research - scholars in Ayurveda.
For other streams, you should have a flair for the same.

The cut offs vary from year to year so you stand a chance always. Get yourself ready for the counselling session.

Have you analysed your interest and aptitude in making your carrer. That is one important thing to look upon because many people join some prestigious courses and later on not satisfied with it due to many reasons. The medical career is one such line where throughout the life one has to work hard. One should also be ready to join the interior health dispensaries which are situated in remote places.

So it is not that simply doing a MBBS is the end of the tunnel. Even if you do not get admission there are many other alternative career options for you.

Diploma in pharmacy and things like that can also be considered. Keep your all options open.
