BAMS-2018 Admission and Counselling Process.

The process of counselling and admission to this course will commence within two weeks of the announcement of the results. Dates of counselling will be published on the website on the result page. An applicant is therefore advised to keep visiting website. No separate call letters will be sent. Candidates desirous of admission should report to the Chairman – Admissions (Ayurveda) on the date/time and place announced in the website.
The admission process will be completed within the specified period by conducting the counselling. The applicants are directed to make themselves present in the counselling accordingly. No separate call letters will be sent to the qualified applicants for attending the counselling. The candidates should take Application Form along with all the required documents and counselling fees while coming to the councilling.

A. As far as your admission to a private college goes, you need not worry because they would just want a pass in the NEET exams and not ranks.

BAMS, BHMS have just being included in the NEET for the first time, so the chances of getting a course would depend on the cut-off, the total number of candidates and the number of seats but we do not have previous numbers to compare

B. Anything around 350 is said to be a good score, so you would have a good chance. I would suggest keeping the options open. There is a huge amount of competition for medical and alternative medical branches and try for the national and state quota.

C. Most colleges have 85% of the seats for the state candidates and in that around 45% would be for general merit students. So, in short, you will be battling with the rest of general quota students (around for less than 50% of the seats that are to be allocated to Punjab.

D. Counseling would be in three stages. Once you register for the first stage, then you need not register, but remember to choose the 'CHOICE FOR UPGRADATION' in the subsequent rounds. This would enable you to be eligible for changing the college if you get a better offer in the further counseling sessions.

The first round of counseling would have many who would change their choices and hence there would be a good number of seats in the second round. First round is in July, second round in 1st week of August

Please keep track of the websites of the colleges and the neet 2018 sites wherein the dates for counseling for the merit seats and the private seats would be applied. Once the application forms are released for the private colleges, you can apply and join pending your merit counseling results.

Eligibilty criteria to apply for admission for BAMS :
1. Qualified in NEET
2. Pass in Physics, Chemistry, Bio & EGG
3. Agreegate for PCB should be 50% for general categoryand 40% for ST/ST/OBC.

Seats are limited in some colleges so hurry up and apply for admission. Admission stars from 15 may and closing date is 15 August 2018.

For admission in government colleges for BAMS, required NEET cut off for Unreserved category is 350+, 240+ for OBC and 150+ for ST/SC category.

You can register for all india quata counseling from 3rd july to 11 july. Candidates who have not been allotted seats through counselling till now have one more chance to get seats.
* The fresh registration process will start for mop-up round counselling, candidates have to register on mcc.nic.in site for mop-up round registration.
* Candidates already allotted seats in the previous round of MCC counselling and have not reported to college are not eligible for mop-up round counselling.
* Candidates wait-list will be declared after registration on MCC website.
* Participating college both state government and deemed private university vacant seat category wise will be declared on MCC(medical counseling committee) website.
* Deemed university and the central deemed university will conduct their own counselling process, so wait-list declared candidates will now make registration to any respective college where they want to attend counselling.
* After registration, the college will send you the date and venue where counselling will be conducted by the college.
* After conducting counselling on leftover seats, are distributed to registered waiting list candidate according to their marks.

If seat is alloted to any student through all india counseling in the 2nd found and student apply for admission then you cannot leave your college if you want after admission. You have to pay some fine to them. So before agree for any college first know which is best govt. college for BAMS. After that you cannot do anything so choose college wisely according to the ranking of the college. You have to take admission in the top ten best government colleges.
