  • This is a very common problem. There are some creams which will reduce this problem. But already you have used those creams and you say again it is coming.
You can try the following natural treatments.
    1. 3-5 drops of oil of oregano essential oil can be mixed in 1 ounce of sweet almond oil or warmed coconut oil or olive oil. Apply this mix in the place where you have the problem. Let be there for 2 or 3 hours and then go for completing cleaning. Use dermodue soap. Then after completely getting dried use some prickly heat talcum powder on the place you are having the problem. It may take some time but you will get the relief.
    2. Natural, unsweetened yoghurt contains beneficial bacteria, called probiotics. Daily eating some curd and 30 minutes before going for bath applying this material in the areas where there is a problem may also cure your problem.
    3. Coconut oil has antifungal properties and has been shown to reduce these itching problems. Daily after bath gets the body completely dried and then apply pure Coconut oil. This will help in reducing the problem. Raw organic coconut oil can be applied externally to cure this problem.
    4. Warmed coconut oil can also be used as a carrier oil for more powerful antifungal essential oils like tea tree oil. Tea tree oil will be very good for this problem. But you should not apply directly. 1 or 2 ml of this oil can be mixed in coconut oil and then can be applied.
In addition to the above, you should take the following precautions.
    1. Apply prickly heat talcum powder on the area always before wearing the clothes.
    2. Don't use the same underwear for more than 8 to 10 hours.
    3. It is advisable to use well-medicated soaps like dermodue rather than ordinary soaps.
    4. Don't wear very tight clothes.

  • Fungal - infection is the root cause of impurity of blood and hence any treatment which cleanses the blood would help in eradicating this disease. You may undertake the following tips in order to get rid of this fungal disease-
    1) Tinospora - cordifolia also known as Guduchi is known for enhancing immunity and hence you may consume one tablet after each meal and the same is to be consumed for at least forty - days.
    2) Earley in the morning in empty - stomach, you may use the juice of Neem and Tulasi by taking ten leaves of each. After rinsing grind them well and add the same in a glass of water, consume it after slight warming. Its regular use will purify your blood since both Tulasi and Neem are antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral in nature apart from boosting metabolism.
    3) Avoid spicy and oily foods since this aggravates disease.
    4) You may use coconut - oil laced with some camphor to take care of your disease. This must be applied twice a day.
    5) Chandanasava of any reputed Aurvedic company may be used for this purpose. Take 10 ml of the same along with equal amount of water and consume it after your meals as per consultation of your Ayurvedic - doctor.

  • Fungal infection in the inner thigh parts is a very common ailment. Its reason is attributed to the body sweat in humid and hot seasons which does not dry up quickly and gives conducive environment to the growth of fungi or bacteria. Keeping a healthy hygiene is the most important thing in such conditions.

You have already taken up certain medical treatments but they do not seem to be effective in your case.

Now you can try some home remedies which not only can cure it but also do not have side actions as are common with modern medicines.

Some of the most common but effective remedies are -

    l. Apple Cider Vinegar - Dilute it with equal water and apply on the affected area for 30 minutes and then clean it with warm water and dry with cotton napkin.

    2. Crushed Garlic - Take a few cloves of garlic and make a paste with olive oil. Apply it for 30 minutes on the affected area and then wash with warm water and dry up with a cotton towel.

    3. Tea Tree Oil - Tea tree oil is a natural anti-fungal compound and is very effective. It is to be applied and let it remain applied. No need to wash it.

    4. Turmeric - It is an old age remedy and well known for its antiseptic, antibiotic and anti-fungal properties. One has to apply the juice of raw turmeric on the affected area. Keep it for two to three hours and then clean with warm water. Dry with a cotton cloth.

    Knowledge is power.

  • Fungal infection in the skin especially in groin and thigh region is very irritating and embarrassing. In medical science there are many creams and medicines prescribed for it but sometimes it takes a chronic form and does not go easily with those type of medications.

In such cases people go for home remedies and a particular remedy may suit to a particular individual. One has to try them for getting cured.

There are some soaps available in the market which contain certain chemicals which also help in getting rid of these itching though it takes time in that. One such soap available in market is Medimix (its color is green) which is really very effective. Instead of using the regular bath soap if one uses this particular soap especially around that region then in a weeks time improvement is there.

There may be some other equivalent soaps also in the market but with this one I am personally aware and have seen its benefit. You can try that one.

    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

  • This is very common problem in men. I am surprised how much medication you are on. First I would like to know your daily routine? Reason because itching causes bacteria to move into skin and reside and ultimately rise of fungi.
Usually some men gets habituate to such sweating in thigh area so they don't get that infection until it remains very long time. Just try following things at home you should be okay.
    1. Keep genitals and thigh dry as much as possible. For that you have to avoid walk in high heat and rather not to do activity which can cause sweating in lower part.
    2. Use cotton inner garment of full size. If possible wear Indian Langot / Supporter to support your genital.
    3. Change inner garment twice a day. One in morning and other before sleeping.
    4. Apply anti derm powder twice a day in thigh area. Once before moving out of home and before sleeping in night.
    5. Wear less cloths in night in lower part so it can get maximum air for skin breathing. Remember fungi grows in moist and dark more.

Apart from that if it is really frequent happening even if slight walk then consult doctor and take full break from work until it gets clear.

  • My suggestions are as under:-

    (a) This is a common problem in India. There is nothing to worry.
    (b) Use very clean undergarments. Your undergarments must be washed separately (not with the clothes of other family members). After washing, the undergarments must be completely dried.
    (c) Don't wear undergarments at the time of going to bed. Use loose clothes at the time of going to bed.
    (d) Wash your thighs and joints with a new soap regularly. Don't use a common soap. Dry the area properly after taking bath.
    (e) Visit a qualified dermatologist along with the previous history of medication. Strictly follow his advice.
    (f) Don't take medicine on your own or as per the direction of the sellers in medical stores.

Beware! I question everything and everybody.
