  • There are many Colleges in India where your Daughter can study B.A Economics honors. But in general the quota for NRI students are mainly used for medical and engineering courses.
The only institution that speaks clearly about NRI quota in the B.A course of Economics is the Symbiosis College in Pune.
Here are the details I have gathered to get an admission there:

    Admission Procedure
Admissions for every International Students in the Symbiosis Centre for International Education can be secured by fulfilling the following criteria.

You need to furnish the relevant documents to prove you are an international student, with sufficient ID documents. then you can apply for wither of these following categories:
Foreign National (FN): You can apply as an international student, if you hold a Foreign Passport.

Person of Indian Origin (PIO): You can be eligible to apply as a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) if you have a PIO card, showing you are a citizen of a country outside India.

Non-Resident Indian (NRI) – At the Undergraduate Level you can be eligible to apply for a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) quota if you have appeared for the last 10 or 10+2 qualifying exam outside of India.
However they have made it compulsory for the NRI student who has appeared for 12th in India to write a SET Test.
