You can go for B.ed after your B.Tech whatever the stream may be but the Eligibility criteria for B.ed for most of the top universities is 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. or B.E. and the specialization must be in Science and Mathematics, Others may differ from with college you choose. BSc CS, BCA, MCA students are also eligible.
But you can apply for BTC and join as a teacher in primary schools. these are for 1st class to 5th class.
The advantages of doing B.Ed are that you can work as Secondary school teachers, Educational Entrepreneurs, School Administrators, Freelancers, Free Lance Trainers, Tutorials Trainers, etc.
